Events That Shaped Queen Elizabeth's Life

In 1936 when I was 10, my grandfather, King George the Fifth, died. His eldest son Edward, my uncle, became the news king. Near the end of that same year, Edward decided that he didn't want to be king. Since my father was the next oldest, he became King George the Sixth. Also, since I was the oldest in my generation, I would become the queen after my father died.
